Immersed in the Landscape of Waterton Lakes National Park, Alberta, Canada. April 12th, 2008.
I AM THE JINX!
It was a very nice warm weekend with lots of wildlife around (not counting us!). As you can see, Upper Waterton Lake is still very frozen (and I am up to my ears in it, lol). While it was warm an hours drive away (where we live), Winter was still holed up in the mountains.
A few days after I took and played with the picture, Winter took his revenge on us and plunged us into sub-zero temperatures and mounds of snow for nearly the next two weeks. I will never mock this crotchety cuss again!

Photoshop work: Panorama stitch with three pics, added tilted reflection on bottom, inserted self-portrait and worked lighting and distortions in filters.

Haha, very well done and thought of. It is very realistic of the winter we had. This is how I felt until mid of April :))

the weather is better now, Christine, thank God. What is nice about that place is that nobody goes there off season. Animals roam the deserted streets. Deer eat out of your hand ......
