Surreal drawings are the pieces of art that impress me most. I find it totally fascinating how people are able to 1. think of a motive and 2. realize it. This one is an outstanding example of an incredible drawing.

The idea of the Ouroboros serpent is old, but everything but unjaded. And I haven't seen it in form of a wheel before. It is a symbol whose roots can be found in the antiquity, but it is not forgotten, it even found its way to today.

The whole drawing is so detailed, it's absolutely mind-blowing. I think it was a good choice to do this in black and white, because colours would've distracted the contemplator from the awesome details. The background emphasizes the surreality of the drawing; it also is extremely detailled, but doesn't distract from the actual eye-catcher, the serpent.

All told, the only thing that Ican say about this picture is that it is totally amazing, and hats off to the artist, because this piece of art is absolutely breathtaking.
