OK, I know, I know, I am supposed to be a serious Surrealist Artist: first I fill my gallery with photographs, now I am doing cartoons.
Well, this was for the retirement of a friend and former colleague. Working for Canadian Pacific Railway, a lot of funny tales can be told. While working one night in the Railyard, Neil ran into a bear while inspecting a coaltrain. He startled the poor critter, and both fled in opposite directions.
Bears are attracted to spilled grain, which is quite a problem in the Rocky Mountains National Parks. Environmental clean-ups are conducted on a regular basis to keep incidences with wildlife in check.

LOL!!! Quite the comical story...well comical after the fact, I imagine it would have been quite a frightful experience at the time!! Yikes!! ***heart stops***:faint: Awesome illustration!!

Projects, yeah..... I have a 30 year old sketch book with copious notes about 'to-do' projects. Would have to live to 120 to do them all.....
You want to add one to your project pile? I had a similar situation with an owl sitting on a ladder rung of a coal car (while i was inspecting the train on the night shift). Inches from my head, she hooted into my ear. I jumped out of my skin. The owls are there for the same reason the bears are: spilled grain. The railyard is full of mice feeding on it.

You'd have to live to 120 and stop thinking of ideas right now. The idea graveyard gets bigger every year.
