This is so very cool! Reminds me of Dali's hatching egg but with a REALLY cool twist!

Great job :)
I love the warm colours at the bottom contrasted by the cold ones at the top. The symbolism is also really interesting because it makes me think.

Was this painted in reference to the Vietnam War, since it ended only a couple of years before you painted this? Does the white box represent the good hearted appearance of the American involvement and the strength of the army, yet as the war went on the darker side of the war became uncovered and the weakness of the armed forces began to show. Does the scar represent the Americans healing their wounds and retreating while leaving the Vietnamese devastated? What do the holes mean? Sorry for the long comment but this painting got me thinking.
