Very nice! It has a "fractal look" to it, but just different enough to be quite interesting :)

I was just doing it the hard way in PS. The basic image would probably be good for fractals (if I ever find the time to try something new....) - this was just some play to possibly use as a website background or for end papers in a book.

Well, fractals are a different process, I think. It's more of search and discovery thing, endless tweaking of parameters. You need patience and a fast computer :)
